So I was doing some research last night on one of my Achilles heels. Fatigue. Even though I try to eat right and exercise, I still have my mornings when I wake up with that sluggish feeling of fatigue.
Do you do the same? If so, what are your reasons? Stress, depression or too much junk food? Well my mother put me on to a smoothie blend that might help fight that chronic fatigue.
2 apples
1 banana
1/2 cup of fresh or frozen strawberries
1/2 cup of vanilla yogurt
1/2 teaspoon of lemon and/or lime juice
1/4-1/2 cup of ice (or water if you want it at room temp)
2 dashes of cinnamon
Now instead of trying this when I wake up in the morning, I’m gonna fix it in the early afternoon. You know, that time of the day when your bed is beckoning you for a nap. I’m choosing to do this because that’s my peak time for fighting fatigue. If yours is in the morning, try it when you wake up. Or mid morning, do the same. I’ll follow up on how I feel and I’d love to hear what it does for you. Enjoy your wellness.
