The pomegranate which originates in the middle east  is a good source of longevity and strength.  With it’s richness in potassium, vitamin C and polyphenols it can be depended on as a good antioxidant.

The pomegranate seed is known to aid in prostate and heart health due to it’s ability to suppress inflammatory cell signaling in  cancerous cells.  As far as diseases are concerned, different parts of the pomegranate plant can be used as a healing aid.   Gastroenterological ailments like stomach ulcers, dysentry and diarrhea can be treated with the bark, juice, fruit and flower of pomegranate.

Pomegranate is really versatile.
I had it in my spinach salad tonight for dinner with some balsamic dressing. Can be quite tedious picking them out though;)
