Hope everyone had a good weekend. I’m just gonna get straight to it with this one. Here are 5 vegetables to consider adding to your diet. That is, if you’re not eating them already. You may not like every vegetable on this list, but just think of the tremendous service you will be doing to your body. Ok here they go.
Spinach- Rich in antioxidants and nutrients, spinach can protect you from numerous ailments such as osteoporosis, heart disease, colon cancer, arthritis and many other diseases at the same time.
Garlic- Garlic is loaded with antiviral and antibiotic compounds which means that it can prevent colds, boost the immune system, fight yeast and other fungal infections and help to lower blood pressure and high cholesterol.
Onions- Just like garlic, onions are loaded with intiviral and antibiotic compounds which help in boosting the immune system and lowering blood pressure.
Sweet Potatoes- Another immune system booster, sweet potatoes give you vitamin C and folate which is good for reducing the risk of heart disease and birth defects.
Cabbage- Cabbage is a goody because it doesn’t cost that much for one and contains nutrients called indoles which are said to help protect the body from both breast cancer and prostate cancer. The best thing about cabbage, in my opinion, is how rich in fiber and vitamin C it is. If you’re ever feeling backed up or constipated, add some cabbage to your dinner for the evening and feel the results later.
Well there you have it. 5 vegetables that will change how you look and how you feel. Your comments are always wanted and always welcome so try them out and let me know how they work for you. Enjoy your wellness.

I did not know that cabbage could help with breast cancer. I hate cabbage but if it will be helpful than I guess finding better ways to cook it will help.
I know what you mean Marquella. I’m gonna be exploring new ways to enjoy it to since it provides such benefits for the body.
Good suggestion with cabbage.
It reminds me of a fall recipe that I do with extra lean ground beef called lazy man cabbage. I think I might go out of season and make some this week;)

Well we’re technically only a month away from fall so it won’t be that bad. I don’t eat beef but I’m gonna try that dish with some turkey meat.
